Azza Fahmy Jewellery’s New Cutting Edge Collection

After four years of quietly creating impactful designs behind the Azza Fahmy jewellery scenes, the rising designer Amina Ghaly has introduced her second Fashion collection for Azza Fahmy with yet another twist in design.

Using rug motifs from across the Eastern Peninsula as her inspiration, Amina’s creatively hip 2009 collection is a mixture of Eastern culture, contemporary designs with a western influence, and calligraphy designed to compliment the richness of a variety of materials.

Stylishly exotic bangles and necklaces designed with hand pierced silver on wood turns the East’s rich culture of rug motifs on its head to reveal highly fashionable, unique and sensuous modern pieces. This theme is continued with a play on the vibrant colors of different stones set against a fresh mix of sterling silver, 18k gold, and the Azza Fahmy trademark calligraphy.

Choose from earrings, bracelets, necklaces and rings with a mix of precious and non-precious material creating ‘must have’ pieces. Azza Fahmy comments: “Amina’s second collection continues to deliver cutting edge contemporary designs without losing sight of the brand ethos for the artistic fusion of rich culture and contemporary style. Amina Ghaly has been working with Azza Fahmy Jewellery for four years after graduating from University of Central England, Birmingham, UK with a BA in jewellery design and silversmithing; this is her second Fashion collection to be launched.
